Microsoft offers a free hash verification software for Windows users. It is called as “Microsoft File Checksum Integrity Verifier“. It is used on command line, no GUI is supplied.
Just type “fciv filename” on command line to get a file’s MD5 hash.
I think this program should be the first software to be installed on a clean and fresh Windows system. It can be used as a first tool to verify your preferred third party verification software’s hash sum. I strongly recommend Hashtab.

Thanks for the tip. Much appreciated. Cheers~
